The July Hawamesh (“on the margins”) meeting will explore aspects of violence against LGBTQ persons and communities from global and local perspectives, through analysis of the Palestinian societal discourse, the forms, manifestations, and projections of violence, and the different ways local Palestinian LGBTQ communities, and society in general, deal with and discuss it.
